IMPACT- We Give Back!
Grand Real Estate Investments believes in giving back to our community in OR. Robert & Ricky Grand founded and support Impact Club Eugene a local giving group that has donated over $128,000 to local Eugene & Springfield Oregon non-profits.
Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
Every quarter Impact Club Eugene meets to listen to 3 local Lane County-based charities pitch for 5 minutes each. After all the presentations are done the Impact Club members vote on the winning charity. The winning charity is then awarded the giving group’s quarterly donation. Currently, Impact Club Eugene has grown from 2 people to over 123 local members. Each member donates just $100 each quarter. Coupled with 123 other members it creates a local impact of $12,300 a quarter.

Co-Founder- Robert Grand
I believe in creating an environment that builds impactful relationships in our community. Everyone has a duty to their community, it’s up to us to act upon it. I was taught this by my mother, and have channeled this through all of my life. My biggest impact has been from my work as a fire captain for the Eugene/Springfield Fire Department for the past 17 years. Helping people in their moment of need is the greatest service one can have.
It’s this service that first drove my passion to give back. In June of 2017, I started ImpactClub Eugene, which has been my greatest accomplishment. It took courage and faith. Taking it from one member to over 120 has been challenging, but rewarding. As a group, we have donated over $91,000 locally in just 24 months. That’s a community and that’s impact!
I have also helped transformed Grand Real Estate Investments from a real estate sales company to an impactful business. We invest in deteriorated houses in the Eugene area. We rehabilitate these houses to provide quality rentals to solve a local housing problem. The biggest lesson I have learned from my experiences is to never stop learning and never quit. It takes perseverance to start something and see it through. Quitting is easy, but it’s not as rewarding as overcoming obstacles. Success isn’t easy, it is earned. Focusing our energy on finding solutions forces us to think creatively and grow. It’s that growth that allows us to tackle the societal problems we face.
Robert is a recent 20 under 40 award winner in Eugene Oregon.
Co-Founder- Ricky Grand
Having grown up in this area, I take pride in owning a business here and giving back to the community that has given me so much. I hold a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on finance from the University of Oregon.
My background before opening Grand Realty Investments was in finance and investing, so many people would call me “the numbers guy” of the team. More importantly, I get to blend my passion (investments) with my work/business by running a real estate investment company with my brother, Robert Grand.
Outside of running our company, I do as much as I can to give back to my community. I coach soccer for my oldest daughter’s KidSports team and have done that for the past 5 years. I am the Treasurer and on the Board of Directors for Our Community Birth Center, which is a local nonprofit working to create a new and independent birth center in Eugene, Oregon. I run Impact Club Eugene with Robert. I also spotlight local charities by raising awareness via social media as I run in local 5k races benefiting those charities.
Aside from work and philanthropy, I spend my time with my wife and two amazing daughters. I enjoy camping and golfing in the spring/summer; going to Duck football and basketball games in the fall, and playing in the snow with my kids during the winter. There is no place like Eugene, Oregon. I love this city and my community and raising my family here is something I treasure.
